We’re sponsoring the Tour of Britain sprints jersey again this year. Each road stage of the OVO Energy Tour of Britain features three intermediate sprints, where points are awarded towards the Eisberg Sprints Jersey.
Riders battle it out to be first across the sprint line to claim points, and also bonus seconds to be taken off their overall race time.
If the overall lead for the OVO Energy Tour of Britain is tight, expect the battle for the time bonuses to be intense, just as in 2007 when an intermediate sprint helped decide who won overall.
Eisberg sprint locations:
Stage 1: Carmarthen, Brecon, Usk
Stage 2: Honiton, Tiverton, Landkey
Stage 3: Chew Stoke, Peasedown St John
Stage 4: Kenilworth, Wellesbourne, Southam
Stage 5: N/A
Stage 6: Ambleside, Keswick, Cockermouth
Stage 7: Worksop, Blisthorpe. Blidworth
Stage 8: Finish of lap 4, finish of lap 8, finish of lap 12
